ICT / Network Engineer (Jakarta Based) - Data Center, Engineering, Construction Home-based Working
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a leading engineering and construction firm specializing in high-tech critical infrastructure, who are looking for a qualified professional for ICT / Network Engineer. This role is dedicated to supporting advanced Data Center project implementation in Jakarta, focusing on the seamless execution of ICT networks, structured cabling, and network integration for BMS/CCCS systems. The position offers a flexible home-based working arrangement combined with active mobilization to project sites. The ideal candidate is a technical specialist with a strong background in copper/fiber infrastructure and network connectivity, ensuring that critical data center network systems achieve robust deployment and strict K3 compliance.
Job Description:
- Network Infrastructure Execution: Support the deployment of ICT network infrastructure, structured cabling, and low-voltage network systems across the data center project site.
- Hardware & Cabling Management: Assist with the installation, precise termination, testing, and troubleshooting of copper/fiber optic cabling, patch panels, server racks, switches, and associated active network hardware.
- System Interconnectivity: Support network connectivity for BMS/CCCS frameworks, conducting communication testing and maintaining direct alignment with specialized system vendors.
- Technical Document Review: Review and interpret network schematics, cable routing floor plans, rack elevation layouts, patching schedules, and related technical engineering documents.
- Testing & Diagnostics: Perform foundational network continuity checks, cable labeling verification, signal testing, and detailed site issue reporting.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate closely with third-party subcontractors, hardware vendors, and internal project teams to ensure all site works meet engineering specifications.
- Project Documentation: Prepare accurate cable test records, site configuration reports, as-built drawing markups, and final handover documentation.
- Safety & K3 Compliance: Strictly adhere to all project safety guidelines and K3 operational standards on the construction site.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Telecommunication, Computer Network, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or related disciplines.
- 3–5 years of working experience in ICT infrastructure, network cabling, structured cabling, ELV, or large-scale data center projects.
- Direct hands-on experience handling structured cabling systems, fiber optic cable splicing/termination, copper cable networks, network cabinets, and switches.
- Proven ability to read and interpret network topology drawings, structural cabling layouts, rack elevation profiles, and technical diagrams.
- Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, VLAN architecture, network connectivity, and network communication testing protocols.
- Mandatory Technical Skills: Proficient in operating AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia. Basic communication skills in English or Mandarin will be a distinct advantage for international project stakeholder alignment.
- Willing to work at project sites in Jakarta under a flexible home-based/site mobilization working arrangement.
