Accounting & Tax Supervisor (West Jakarta Based) – Building Material Industry
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with an established corporate group in the Building Material Industry, who are looking for a highly meticulous and analytical Accounting & Tax Supervisor. Based at their Head Office in West Jakarta, this role is fully responsible for managing the end-to-end accounting cycle, driving accurate financial reporting, and overseeing total corporate tax compliance. The position requires a hands-on supervisor proficient in Excel and Accurate software who can bridge day-to-day general ledger operations with external tax requirements and audit readiness.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Accounting Management: Oversee and execute the full accounting cycle, ensuring all daily transactions, journal entries, and ledger postings are accurate and fully reconciled.
Financial Reporting & Closing: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian financial accounting standards (SAK) and management timelines.
Tax Compliance & Reporting: Handle corporate tax planning, calculations, monthly/annual tax returns (SPT Masa & Badan), tax reconciliations, and overall compliance with Indonesian tax laws.
Audit Coordination: Function as the main point of contact to coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual financial and tax audit procedures.
Regulatory Governance: Ensure all financial controls, accounting procedures, and tax filings strictly comply with current corporate governance standards and regulatory updates.
System & Software Utilization: Maintain financial data integrity and generate operational accounting reports using Microsoft Excel and Accurate Accounting Software.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar Accounting & Tax supervisory or senior operational role.
Industry Experience: Direct background working within the Building Material, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Construction-related supply sectors is highly advantageous.
Highly proficient in operating Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data reconciliation) and Accurate Accounting Software.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, tax filing mechanics, and standard financial reporting frameworks.
Language Skill Preference: Proficiency in Mandarin / Chinese (written and spoken) is highly preferred to facilitate cross-border document translation and communication with stakeholders.
Strong leadership, numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
Willing to be fully based at the Head Office in West Jakarta and work on a Saturday half-day schedule.
