Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a leading supplier of food and beverage packaging Company, who are looking for talent for their Assistant Sales Manager. This position will be responsible for Coordinate with the production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and service excellence.

Job Description:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to target retail and HoReCa clients.
- Lead and manage a team of 10 sales representatives, including coaching, performance monitoring, and development.
- Proven experience in managing and developing sales teams with a focus on coaching and motivation.
- Build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor team KPIs and sales targets; prepare regular reports on performance and progress.
- Coordinate with the production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and service excellence.
- Participate in pricing, contract negotiations, and product positioning strategies.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to adapt the sales approach accordingly.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the packaging industry or FMCG sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Solid understanding of retail and HoReCa sales dynamics and distribution models.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate sales teams to achieve high performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and develop actionable strategies.
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and support the sales team.
