Business Analyst - Relocate Abroad

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Software Services Company, who are looking for talent for their Business Analyst. This position will be responsible for Conduct industry and competitor research to support strategic planning and innovation. This role involves deep collaboration with internal teams and clients to gather requirements, analyze business processes, optimize workflows, and drive strategic decision-making using data insights.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful business insights.
  • Evaluate and improve existing business processes.
  • Design workflow optimization strategies that boost efficiency and performance.
  • Use tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to track KPIs, generate reports, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Present findings and insights through structured dashboards and visual reports.
  • Assist in project planning and execution, including timeline management, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business units, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Deliver project updates, reports, and post-implementation evaluations to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct industry and competitor research to support strategic planning and innovation
  • Stay updated on trends in digital transformation, financial services, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or a similar role.
  • Solid skills in data interpretation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication & presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven collaborator, experienced in cross-functional teamwork.
  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning, with a proactive attitude toward improvement and innovation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in startup environments—comfortable with rapid change and innovation.
  • Background in financial services or fintech projects.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or other business analysis/project management credentials.
