Business Development Manager (Ethical & OTC Pharmaceutical product) - Jakarta Based

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company, who are looking for talent for Business Development Manager. This role will be responsible for driving business expansion, building strategic alliances, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing product pipelines to support the company’s long-term growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, outstanding analytical skills, and proven experience in managing new product launches and market entry strategies.

Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with corporate goals and market dynamics.
  • Plan and implement business expansion initiatives, including new market entry and product diversification.
  • Monitor and evaluate the execution of strategic business and expansion plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, principals, and potential business partners.
  • Manage and assess the effectiveness of strategic partnerships and alliances for long-term business growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with regulatory authorities (e.g., BPOM).
  • Stay up to date with changes in GMP, CPOB, CDOB, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance and implement required changes based on updated regulations.
  • Manage licensing and permit requirements for both new and existing products, including changes in materials or production processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development or related functions within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Deep understanding and experience working with ethical and OTC pharmaceutical products.
  • Demonstrated experience in new product development and market expansion strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
