Business Development Manager - Pharmaceutical

Job Description:

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding market presence for the pharmaceutical company.
  • This role involves identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and negotiating agreements to support product commercialization and market expansion efforts.
  • The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and key decision-makers to develop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans and initiatives to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, distributors, government agencies, and industry partners.
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, licensing deals, and distribution contracts to support product commercialization and market entry.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to assess market potential and inform business development decisions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development roles within the pharmaceutical industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in identifying and closing business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop innovative business solutions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and business objectives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct market research.
