Commis Chef (Pekanbaru Based) - Bakery & Food
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Bakery & Food Company, who are looking for talent for Barista. This role will support daily kitchen operations, assist in preparing bakery products, and ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the food & beverage industry, particularly as a barista, and is eager to expand their skills in bakery production.

Job Description:
- Assist in the preparation and baking of bread, pastries, and other bakery products according to recipes and quality standards.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver efficient operations and maintain consistency in product quality.
- Support café operations when needed, including beverage preparation and customer interaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Barista in a café, bakery, or food & beverage environment.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Pekanbaru.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food preparation.
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, with a passion for food and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from senior chefs.
- Flexible schedule, including availability during weekends and holidays.
