Finance and Accounting Division Head (Tangerang Based) - General Insurance

This role requires a deep understanding of finance, accounting principles, and regulatory standards such as IFRS 17, and the ability to lead a mid-to-large scale team. The ideal candidate is a fluent English speaker who can report directly to an expatriate supervisor and is based in or around Tangerang or West Jakarta. This role is crucial in shaping the financial strategy and operational efficiency of the company.

Job Description:
- Develop and implement divisional work programs while coordinating closely with upper management and the finance team.
- Supervise and monitor financial operations, including payment processing, premium collection, bookkeeping, and receivables related to brokers, reinsurers, co-insurers, agents, and clients.
- Plan and analyze financial data to provide business insights and support strategic decision-making across investment, expansion, and operational matters.
- Coordinate and lead the company budgeting process, while ensuring effective and efficient use of company funds in support of operational activities.
- Analyze and review financial submissions and accounting transactions processed by the team to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Lead the finance team in maintaining effective communication and coordination with other departments and clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial approval processes and follow-ups while maintaining strong collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Supervise and develop team members, ensuring all financial and accounting operations are handled efficiently.
- Willing to take on additional responsibilities in alignment with the company’s business development needs.
Requirements:
- Female candidate preferred, aged between 40–50 years old.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a general insurance company.
- Deep knowledge of finance, accounting standards, IFRS 17, and actuarial-related principles.
- Proven track record of leading medium to large-sized teams in a corporate finance environment.
- Residing in or willing to commute to Tangerang or West Jakarta.
- Fluent in English, especially spoken communication, as the position reports to an expatriate.
