General Manager – Marketing Communication (South Jakarta Based) – Hospital Industry

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a prominent and expanding healthcare group, who are looking for a highly strategic and experienced General Manager – Marketing Communication. Positioned as a critical leader within the Corporate Commercial division, this role is fully responsible for designing, driving, and executing integrated marketing communication (IMC) strategies that elevate the corporate brand, protect the group's market reputation, and support continuous commercial growth. Operating out of South Jakarta, the ideal candidate must possess an exceptional blend of brand architecture expertise, comprehensive digital marketing acumen, and advanced crisis communication management to successfully align corporate vision with both branch operations and public engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic IMC & Brand Governance: Develop, implement, and govern the annual Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) framework, encompassing group-level brand strategy, media architecture, and multi-channel campaign execution.
  • Omnichannel Brand Consistency: Secure absolute brand consistency across all active corporate and branch channels, including Above-the-Line (ATL), Below-the-Line (BTL), digital platforms, corporate events, and localized PR.
  • Reputation & Crisis Management: Establish proactive brand positioning frameworks and serve as the core architect for corporate issue resolution, crisis communication protocols, and strategic media relations management (press conferences, interviews, and media alerts).
  • Stakeholder & Media Alliance: Build, nurture, and leverage high-level networks with strategic media partners, journalists, medical communities, government institutions, and essential external business partners.
  • Campaign & Vendor Management: Direct integrated marketing activities, high-profile healthcare services launches, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and sponsorships. Evaluate, appoint, and lead creative agencies, production houses, and digital partners.
  • Data-Driven Performance Analytics: Monitor evolving medical market trends and consumer insights; continuously measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance, media valuation, brand equity indexes, and definitive commercial Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Budgetary & Leadership Oversight: Manage the centralized Marketing Communication budget to maximize deployment efficiency. Establish rigorous KPIs, drive cross-functional alignment with senior hospital management, and actively mentor multidisciplinary teams across head office and hospital units.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field. A Master’s Degree (S2/MBA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Marketing Communications, Brand Management, Corporate Communications, or PR, with at least 5 years directly serving in a senior managerial capacity.
  • Proven track record within consumer-facing or complex service-driven ecosystems (prior experience in the Hospital, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, or high-end hospitality sectors is an advantage).
  • Expert mastery of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC), brand repositioning, and highly technical crisis communication setups.
  • Superior capability in narrative architecture, corporate storytelling, high-level negotiation, and public presentation.
  • Highly data-literate with the ability to turn market analytics, digital media data, and patient behavior patterns into actionable growth strategies.
  • Excellent written and spoken English for high-level corporate reporting and regional alignment.
  • Willing to be based in South Jakarta (Jakarta Selatan).
