Head of Ancillary Division (Bandung Based) - Healthcare & Medical Services

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Healthcare & Medical Services Company, who are looking for talent for Commercial Division Head. This role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, efficient, and patient-centred medical support services across the hospital. This role oversees multiple critical departments — including Laboratory & Blood Bank, Radiology, Pharmacy, Medical Rehabilitation, Medical Records, and Nutrition — to ensure smooth service delivery that supports optimal patient outcomes and hospital performance.

Job Description:

  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of all ancillary departments under the division
  • Build long-term, mid-term, and annual strategic plans to support hospital goals and service excellence
  • Ensure service quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of all medical support units
  • Develop and improve supporting medical service policies and SOPs to maintain high standards
  • Coordinate the availability and readiness of medical equipment, facilities, and supplies
  • Analyse utilization outcomes and recommend strategic initiatives to improve service performance
  • Ensure timely handling of patient and family feedback related to ancillary services
  • Oversee budgeting, spending control, and resource planning (equipment & manpower)
  • Lead training, competency development, and coaching for department leaders and team members
  • Maintain collaboration and professional communication with doctors, nurses, and other divisions

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) preferred; Master’s in Management is an advantage
  • Min 7 years of experience in medical support services, with 2+ years in a managerial role
  • Strong understanding of operations in Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, and other ancillary units
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in developing SOPs, workforce planning, and performance management
  • Structured and decisive
