HSE Manager (Cilegon Based) - Biodiesel Industry
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a leading company in the Biodiesel and Energy sector in Cilegon, who are looking for a highly experienced HSE Manager. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental protection within a high-risk manufacturing environment. The HSE Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of safety management systems, ensuring total regulatory compliance, and fostering a zero-harm culture. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background in the Oil & Gas or Biodiesel industry and a proven track record in handling complex audits and international safety standards.
Job Description:
- Safety Strategy: Lead and oversee the implementation of HSE management systems, ensuring alignment with SMK3, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Compliance & Auditing: Manage all HSE-related permits and conduct regular internal and external audits to ensure full compliance with Indonesian laws and industry regulations.
- Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and environmental impact analyses for the Cilegon plant operations.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace incidents, providing root cause analysis (RCA) and ensuring the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors to enhance workplace safety awareness and technical competency.
- Environmental Stewardship: Monitor environmental performance, including waste management and emissions, to ensure the plant operates sustainably.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for government authorities and external agencies regarding HSE performance and compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (K3), or Environmental Science.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position (Managerial level), specifically within the Biodiesel or Oil & Gas industry.
- Deep understanding and implementation experience of SMK3, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Mandatory Certification: Possess a valid AK3 Umum (Ahli K3 Umum) certification.
- Proven track record in handling complex audits and regulatory compliance for industrial facilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decisive problem-solving skills.
- Willing to be based in Cilegon, Banten.
