IT Manager (Jakarta Based) - Construction & Infrastructure

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Construction & Infrastructure Company, who are looking for talent for IT Manager. This role will be responsible for  leading the planning, development, implementation, and management of the company’s overall IT services and infrastructure. This role plays a strategic function in ensuring that IT solutions are aligned with business objectives, while maintaining system availability, information security, regulatory compliance, and digital resilience. The position also drives IT maturity, governance, and transformation initiatives to support sustainable business growth within the construction and infrastructure environment.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement the company’s IT Strategy, IT Architecture, and long-term IT Roadmap.
  • Manage application development and system integration, including SAP, internal applications (Odoo), and other internal platforms.
  • Ensure the availability, security, performance, and reliability of IT infrastructure and operational services.
  • Implement IT Service Management practices, including SLA management, incident, problem, and change management.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee IT security plans, information security risk mitigation, and cyber resilience initiatives.
  • Ensure IT compliance with applicable standards and regulations, including ISO 27001, internal policies, and internal/external audits.
  • Establish and manage data and technology governance, covering data quality, access control, security, and metadata management.
  • Lead the measurement, assessment, and continuous improvement of IT maturity using frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO standards.
  • Develop, test, and manage Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC).
  • Manage IT vendors, outsourcing partners, and procurement of hardware and software.
  • Oversee IT budgeting, cost optimization, and evaluation of return on investment (ROI) for IT initiatives and projects.
  • Lead the IT project portfolio, ensuring effective implementation, governance, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop team competencies, productivity, collaboration, and overall performance within the IT function.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT architecture, networking, cybersecurity, application development, and data governance.
  • Proven experience in IT security, IT governance, IT service management, compliance, risk management, and DRP/DRC implementation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, CISM, CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, or ISO 27001 LA/LI.
  • Experience in ERP implementation (SAP), cloud computing, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), Business Intelligence, or AI-related projects.
  • Prior experience within the construction or infrastructure industry.
  • Experience managing complex or high-risk system transformation projects.
