This role oversees the lab team, manages testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products, and develops new testing methods. The Lab Head collaborates with R&D, QC, and QA teams, supports product development, and ensures lab maintenance and regulatory compliance.

Job Description:
- Team Leadership: Oversee the laboratory team, ensuring efficient and effective performance, with a focus on innovation and quality.
- Testing & Analysis: Lead laboratory activities in the analysis and testing of raw materials and finished products, ensuring that all testing meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Method Development: Develop and validate new testing methods and analytical techniques to improve testing accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all testing results. Maintain comprehensive records for compliance purposes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the R&D, QC, and QA teams to provide scientific support and contribute to product development and problem-solving.
- Innovation: Lead efforts in the development of new flavors and fragrances by collaborating with the R&D team to explore new ingredients, formulations, and techniques.
- Lab Maintenance: Ensure that the laboratory is properly maintained, calibrated, and compliant with all safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory management, particularly in the flavor, fragrance, or food industry.
- Strong expertise in analytical testing, method development, and quality control processes.
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and data management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related scientific field.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
