Production Manager - Automotive Manufacturing
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations at Our Client's Plant #2. As the Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of auto mirrors for motorcycles. Your knowledge of OEM production systems, especially those used in the ASTRA automotive group, along with your problem-solving skills, will be instrumental in driving our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control, to meet production targets and customer demands.
- Process Efficiency: Continuously improve production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that production meets the highest quality standards, adhering to customer specifications and industry regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff across three shifts to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and positive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished products, to optimize production and minimize waste.
- Problem Solving: Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with OEM Production Systems: Proficiency in OEM production systems, especially those used within the ASTRA automotive group, is essential.
- Problem Analysis and Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Manufacturing Experience: Knowledge of plastic injection and thermoforming manufacturing processes is highly preferred, as it aligns with our future development plans.
