Production Planning Control / Leads - Automotive
Role description:
Roles who have responsibilities to do the planning for production, parts / material needed for production and delivery of the finished good products.
Expected activity, deliverables, accountability:
- Develop and maintain production schedule based on customer demand, lead times and available resources.
- Determine material requirements planning based on production schedule and supplier capacity.
- Determine finished goods delivery schedule based on customer demand.
- Monitor production process and coordinate with related teams to re-arrange the production schedule if there is a problem occurring in the production process.
- Lead and manage the PPC team during the production process.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to monitor inventory level.
Candidate Criteria:
- Minimum diploma degree from engineering or other suitable qualifications.
- Have minimum 5 years experience as a Production Planning Control at an automotive manufacturing company, preferably from two wheels assembly.
- Have knowledge about setting up the MRP system.
- Have experience using the SAP system.
- Strong ability to do analysis and problem solving activities, and coordinate with related teams
