Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Food Manufacture Company, who are looking for talent for Purchasing Manager | Mandarin Speaker. This role will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and services. This role plays a critical part in supplier negotiations, contract compliance, and coordination with both local and overseas vendors. Strong Mandarin proficiency is required to effectively communicate and collaborate with international suppliers, particularly in the food manufacturing industry.

Job Description:
- Plan and execute purchases of raw materials and packaging in line with production schedules.
- Compare supplier pricing, conduct negotiations, and secure competitive contracts.
- Analyze market trends and delivery systems to anticipate future supply availability.
- Monitor and manage weekly arrivals of raw materials and packaging.
- Prepare monthly purchasing summaries for reporting to HQ.
- Develop weekly supplier payment reports for finance coordination.
- Oversee procurement of goods, services, supplies, equipment, and machinery.
- Implement and ensure compliance with import and export requirements.
- Establish and maintain a list of approved suppliers and outsourcing partners.
- Monitor compliance with purchase requisitions and budget allocations.
- Review and validate purchase contracts against company policies.
- Contribute to the development of product/equipment specifications.
- Handle supplier disputes, complaints, and claims effectively.
- Evaluate supplier bids and approve specifications based on quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Direct and coordinate purchasing and distribution staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare bid approval documents for submission to the board or directors.
- Manage and optimize online purchasing systems.
Requirements:
- Preferably male, maximum 45 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in any major.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (minimum HSK 5 certification required).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Willing to be based in Cikarang.
