Quality Control - Automotive Industry
Job Description:
On behalf our client manufactured high quality precision fasteners and engineered components, for the automotive industry, we are seeking for the role Quality Control Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections of automotive parts at different production stages to identify defects, deviations from specifications, and other quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Investigate the root causes of quality issues and work on corrective and preventive actions to address them effectively.
- Ensure that inspection equipment and tools are properly calibrated and maintained to ensure accurate measurements and tests.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure the company's quality processes remain in compliance
- Work closely with customers to provide real-time feedback and support in resolving quality-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, quality management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in quality control and assurance within the automotive part manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry quality standards, such as ISO/TS 16949.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality management software and tools is a plus.
