This role will be responsible for overseeing the laboratory team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining the highest level of accuracy in testing results. This role plays a key part in managing laboratory operations, including calibration, equipment qualification, SOP development, document control, and audit readiness. The position requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise in chemical testing, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in laboratory practices and quality systems.

Job Description:
- Lead and supervise laboratory personnel, ensuring adherence to established testing procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Review, validate, and ensure timely delivery of accurate testing results.
- Manage calibration, instrument qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Develop, revise, and maintain testing methods, SOPs, and product specifications.
- Oversee QC documentation in line with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Execute and review laboratory testing activities to support production and development needs.
- Coordinate with external laboratories for outsourced testing, result verification, and qualification processes.
- Ensure readiness for internal, external, and customer audits with full compliance and zero major findings.
- Support product trials, sample testing, and reporting.
- Enforce compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and relevant quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in QC laboratory operations within the chemical or related industry.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong technical skills in chemical and analytical testing with hands-on laboratory experience.
- Proficient in equipment calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance.
- Solid knowledge of GMP, GLP, and quality compliance frameworks.
- Experienced in SAP or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Skilled in audit preparation, lab administration, and regulatory documentation.
- Proven leadership and team mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- High accuracy in managing laboratory records and test data.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to efficiency improvement.
- Willing to be based in Karawang.
