Senior Sales Engineer (EPC Project) - Jakarta Based - Industrial Machinery Manufacturing
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Company, who are looking for talent for Senior Sales Engineer (EPC Project). This role will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing EPC project opportunities and large in-house accounts in the Oil and Gas sector. This role requires strong technical understanding, advanced stakeholder management, and the ability to create winning sales strategies. The position works closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project pursuit, handover, and execution, while maintaining strong relationships with key EPC and project partners.

Job Description:
- Proactively identify and pursue new EPC project opportunities and major in-house projects within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with project owners, consultants, EPC contractors, and strategic partners to maximize conversion of potential sales funnels.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Product Sales, Application Engineers, Order Management, Finance Administration, and Legal to align strategy and ensure seamless project handovers.
- Lead and manage project pursuit activities: price intelligence, proposal development, negotiation, and securing Purchase Orders (PO).
- Ensure optimal cooperation with customers throughout the EPC pursuit process to secure project wins.
- Conduct strategic analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and project forecasts to support sales decision-making.
- Maintain accurate reporting of project pipelines, opportunities, and progress updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Pertamina Patra Niaga Group.
- Proven skills in sales strategy development, forecasting, and market analysis.
- Strong technical background; golf ability is highly preferred and considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent English is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets and revenue objectives.
