Social Media & Community Specialist (Jakarta Based) - Retail Beauty & Shapewear

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Retail Beauty & Shapewear Company, who are looking for talent for Social Media & Community Specialist. This role will be responsible for shaping the brand’s digital presence and building an active, loyal, and engaged community across social platforms. This role focuses on content strategy, daily social media operations, and community development—both online and offline—while ensuring the brand remains relevant, educational, trend-driven, and aligned with core values of self-care, empowerment, and confidence. The position collaborates closely with marketing, creators, and community partners to elevate engagement, visibility, and user-driven growth.

Job Description:

  • Support the Marketing Executive in developing a comprehensive social media strategy (Instagram & TikTok) based on education, trends, virality, and audience relevance.
  • Create content pillars, monthly social media plans, and editorial calendars aligned with brand positioning.
  • Ideate and produce viral content concepts such as trending audio, challenges, POV formats, skits, and storytelling to boost exposure and engagement.
  • Manage daily posting, scheduling, copywriting, and coordination of visual assets with designers.
  • Maintain consistent visual standards, brand tone, and identity across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with the KOL/Creator team for UGC creation, seeding activities, and content amplification.
  • Conduct quality checks on Content Creator outputs—ensuring alignment in ideation, editing quality, and execution.
  • Develop community program strategies focusing on engagement, loyalty, and user participation through challenges, competitions, workshops, and activations.
  • Build and manage a strong online and offline community ecosystem based on the brand’s values of empowerment, confidence, and self-care.
  • Oversee the management of community channels (WhatsApp Groups, Instagram Broadcast, Discord, Telegram, internal platforms).
  • Maintain positive, responsive, and empathetic two-way communication with community members.
  • Create light and engaging community content such as polls, fun facts, tips, daily missions, Q&A, and interactive discussions.
  • Plan monthly community activities including gatherings, workshops, sharing sessions, user storytelling, and product trial reviews.
  • Build partnerships with local communities, lifestyle clubs, beauty and wellness studios, and creator networks to expand community reach.

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma Degree in any major
  • Min 1 - 2 years of experience managing communities or having social media experience (preferably in the beauty/lifestyle/retail/FMCG/apparel).  
  • Possess warm and empathetic interpersonal communication skills and enjoy interacting with many people.  
  • Creative, active on social media, understand digital trends, and have a sense of belonging to the world of beauty & self-care.  
  • Able to organize community events end-to-end with neat coordination.
  • Fast learner, adaptive, and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.  
  • Have a growth mindset, positive energy, and high initiative in building authentic engagement.
