SPV Purchasing – Imported Goods (Jakarta Based) - Construction and Building Materials

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Construction and Building Materials Company, who are looking for talent for their SPV Purchasing – Imported Goods. This position will be responsible for Identify and build relationships with reliable overseas suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.

Job Description:

Manage and coordinate the import purchasing process for goods and materials.
Identify and build relationships with reliable overseas suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Monitor and ensure timely shipments and documentation compliance (e.g., invoices, packing lists, import permits).
Work closely with the finance, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless import operations.
Track purchase orders, shipment progress, and inventory levels to avoid supply chain disruptions.
Develop purchasing strategies based on market trends and company needs.
Provide reports and analysis on purchasing performance and cost efficiency.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations and customs requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in any major.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Purchasing Specialist for Imported Goods.
Strong leadership, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Accustomed to working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Skilled in planning, analysis, and market strategy.
Holds a valid SIM A and SIM C.
Willing to travel for business purposes.
