Ultrasound Sales Manager (South Jakarta Based) – Printing & Machinery Industry
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with an established international trading and distribution corporation operating within the Printing, Industrial Machinery, and Medical Equipment sectors, who are looking for a results-driven Ultrasound Sales Manager. This role is responsible for leading the strategic commercial growth, distributor network optimization, and market penetration of world-class Ultrasound (US) medical imaging systems across Indonesia. Operating out of South Jakarta, the position bridges advanced clinical machinery distribution with active healthcare field operations. The ideal candidate will combine a strong technical foundation in diagnostic imaging with a proven track record of managing channel partners and engaging high-level Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the healthcare ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Sales Growth & Commercial Execution: Develop and execute target-driven sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share growth, and definitive business targets for the Ultrasound portfolio across Indonesia.
Distributor & Channel Governance: Manage, evaluate, and strengthen relationships with active distribution partners to maximize sales performance, territory coverage, and channel compliance; source and appoint new distributors as needed.
KOL & Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture strong professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), radiologists, sonographers, hospital executives, and specialist clinicians to secure brand preference.
Market Activation & Promotions: Plan, organize, and lead clinical workshops, scientific seminars, medical exhibitions, and on-site technical product demonstrations to boost brand awareness.
Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal Marketing, Clinical Applications, and After-Sales Service teams to ensure seamless product integration, end-user training, and premium customer experience.
Market Intelligence & Forecasting: Monitor emerging healthcare trends, hospital procurement budgets, and competitor landscapes to deliver precise sales forecasts and strategic business reports.
Regulatory Support: Support regulatory documentation workflows and product registration activities with local authorities where required.
Territory Mobilization: Travel regularly to key regional territories to audit distributor performance, close major hospital deals, and support complex clinical sales cycles.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Medical Technology, or a related technical healthcare discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Specialist or Sales Specialist specifically for Ultrasound products from global medical device principals.
Proven experience in Distributor Management (Channel Sales) and network development across Indonesia.
Business-level English proficiency (both written and spoken) for product training and international principal reporting.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Willing to be based in South Jakarta (Jakarta Selatan) with the flexibility for routine nationwide travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct commercial exposure or network within the Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) market.
Established relationship networks with radiologists, sonographers, emergency physicians, anesthesiologists, and intensivists.
Active certification as a Radiographer or Sonographer is a distinct advantage.
