VP Business Development (Jakarta Based) - IT Consulting

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with IT Consulting Company, who are looking for talent for VP Business Development. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive account acquisition, reactivation of dormant clients, and expansion into new markets. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, develop actionable sales strategies, and ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets.

Job Description:

  • Lead and manage the Dormant Account & New Account Acquisition team, ensuring performance is aligned with monthly KPIs.
  • Drive revenue growth by consistently achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Expand market presence by acquiring new enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Reactivate dormant clients and accounts to maximize business opportunities.
  • Design, implement, and monitor sales strategies, pipeline planning, and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and client success.
  • Guide, mentor, and motivate sales teams to deliver strong performance.
  • Act as a problem-solver by identifying challenges in the sales cycle and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and recommend improvements to accelerate conversions.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations for business synergy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Lead Generation, or related roles.
  • Proven track record in managing B2B enterprise clients and driving long-cycle deal conversions.
  • Prior leadership experience in managing sales teams is required.
  • Preferably with exposure to competitor companies in IT Consulting or related industries.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and pipeline tracking tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.
  • Skilled in strategic negotiation and deal closing.
  • Ability to develop actionable sales plans and accurately forecast performance.
  • Highly persistent, target-driven, and results-oriented.
