Head of Nursing Division (Jakarta Based) – Healthcare & Hospital Industry

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a premier hospital group who are seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Nursing Division (Kepala Divisi Keperawatan). Based in Jakarta and reporting directly to the Hospital Director, this key executive position holds full operational, clinical, and compliance governance over the hospital's entire nursing framework. The role leads the strategic delivery of high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, hospital infection control (PPI), patient safety protocols, and nursing talent management—ensuring complete alignment with national healthcare regulations, SNARS accreditation benchmarks, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Policy Governance: Direct and manage the entire Nursing Division; establish, cascade, and evaluate hospital-wide nursing SOPs, clinical guidelines, and operational policies aligned with hospital objectives.

  • Patient Safety & Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of Patient Safety programs and Hospital Infection Control (PPI); monitor clinical quality indicators, lead Nursing Quality Rounds, and analyze adverse event reports (KPC, KTD, Sentinel).

  • Nursing Workforce & Talent Management: Establish manpower planning, clinical recruitment, career pathway frameworks, and continuous education/training (Diklat) programs for all nursing and midwifery personnel.

  • Credentialing & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and enforce regulatory compliance, ensuring 100% of practicing nurses and midwives hold active Registration Certificates (STR) and Nursing Practice Licenses (SIP/SIPP/SIPB) in coordination with the Nursing Committee.

  • Departmental Alignment & Administration: Supervise directly reporting Nursing Department Heads (Inpatient/Outpatient Care and Nurse Development); facilitate regular Nursing Committee, Departmental, and Unit Head meetings to ensure operational synergy.

  • Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Relations: Deliver comprehensive clinical quality analysis and nursing operational reports to the Hospital Director, offering strategic inputs for operational improvements and clinical resource allocations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (S1 Ners); Master's Degree (S2 Keperawatan / S2 Manajemen Hospital / MARS) is highly preferred.

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive clinical nursing experience, with a solid track record in a leadership capacity as a Nursing Department Head or Nursing Manager.

  • Mandatory completed professional certifications:

    • Head of Nursing Management Training (Pelatihan Manajemen Kepala Bidang/Divisi)

    • SNARS Assessor Training (Pelatihan Asesor SNARS)

    • Nursing Credentialing Training (Pelatihan Kredensialing Keperawatan)

  • Deep expertise in hospital quality governance, patient safety systems, PPI standards, and clinical audit frameworks.

  • Valid and active Registration Certificate (STR) as a registered professional nurse.

  • Proven leadership in managing high-volume nursing workforces, driving clinical accreditation readiness, and managing multidisciplinary hospital stakeholders.

  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken) for institutional reporting and executive communication.

  • Willing to be based in Jakarta.
